Installation Questions

There are several factors to consider, but as a rule of thumb for solid hardwood installation, we say 3-5 days for the first 1000 SF and another day for each additional 1000 SF; if the floor requires sanding, staining, and finishing, this may take a little longer. Engineered flooring, LVP, and Waterproof flooring can typically be installed more quickly. Of course, the demo needed, furniture in the home, etc., can affect project length. For a more specific timeframe, we recommend a formal walkthrough and estimate.

We are as accommodating as we can to your timeframe. Our customers often plan flooring work when they will be traveling or upon closing on a new home. We do our best to accommodate your schedule.

We will arrange to haul off any unused materials or debris. This will be discussed with you when scheduling your project, and we can also arrange for maids to come in afterward if needed.

During the initial walk, we can determine what furniture needs to be moved and provide alternatives, such as on-site storage.

Our project manager will determine the timeframe for the project and walk you through each step, from moving furniture, demo and haul-off old floor installation, completion, and final walk-through.
