Like most of us, I’m busy and hate shopping around for a million estimates so I trust Google reviews to help me find contractors.  Sometimes it works.  Sometimes it doesn’t.  I can say, with 100% confidence, the great team at Texas Hardwood deserves even more stars.  The office was responsive, quickly connected me with Jesse who got out for an estimate and explanation.  The pricing was fair and I said “let’s do it.”  Jesse, Jose and the crew were efficient, on time and did impeccable work.  Jesse followed up and immediately agreed to fix the only minor item. Texas Hardwood Flooring came through for us again on our new house in Dallas. We needed several floor patches, and they did an incredible job. The patched areas are completely seamless, and the color match is perfect. What impressed us even more was their honesty. They realized the baseboards were not needed and actually refunded that cost, which is rare to see from a contractor these days. Jesse and his team did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend them. This was a large project in Dallas TX, that involved replacing about 700 sq ft of maple hardwood floors due to water damage and refinishing the entire downstairs hardwoods and matching them to the exisiting upstairs hardwoods.  The water damage was more extensive than we thought and required replacing the subfloors down to the slab, waterproofing the slab and subfloors etc.  The maple stain is a dark stain which I understand is difficult to get right but they did a great job and we were very satisfied.  Jesse was very good with communications and we worked through some issues to make sure everything turned out great. We found a beautiful home in Plano, TX, with a lot of potential, but the downstairs fake wood wasn’t going to work for us. We wanted to install real wood downstairs and refinish the wood upstairs so the whole house looked beautiful and consistent. The best part was that they not only delivered, but exceeded our expectations. Our floors are beautiful, and we get so many compliments at our gatherings. It was a pleasure working with Jesse on our flooring project. His expert crew, spearheaded by Jose, exceeded our expectations. They tore out our original carpet and were able to provide a pretty much identical match to our existing hardwood. ​The team completely transformed our home in Grand Prairie with site-finished Red Oak floors, custom hand-scraping, and a matching stain. The craftsmanship is truly top-tier—the stairs are now a major highlight of our home and turned out even better than imagined. The crew was professional and very polite throughout the project. Aside from some minor delays on logistics, the quality of the final result completely overshined everything else. Moving into our first home in East Dallas was a dream, but the existing floors needed a serious revival. In my opinion, nothing beats the character of natural wood; the look and feel are both calming and sophisticated. Jesse was instrumental in helping us navigate the staining process. He walked us through different shades to find a tone that brightens the rooms by day, but feels warm and soothing when the sun sets and the lights dim. For the kitchen and guest bedroom, we had a clean slate. We wanted an urban, "Amsterdam-inspired" energy that welcomed the spirit of the city into the home. Jesse and his team took our initial ideas and hit a home run—the brick tile herringbone they installed is, to this day, my favorite feature of the house. The craftsmanship is undeniable. The transitions between the wood and tile are seamless, and the installation is flawless. Throughout the process, the team was professional, kept a clean worksite, and stayed perfectly on schedule.
